OUR MISSION

  • We’re working towards a world where males are comfortable talking about their mental health.
  • We’re working hard to understand the needs of men and delivering services to match.
  • We’re working hard to identify the most useful tools and measures to determine whether our services are having an impact.
  • We’re lobbying State and Federal Governments to act to improve male mental health.

Nathan Bolton was a Special Operations Engineer deploying twice to Afghanistan as part of the Australian Special Forces. Following his second tour and a subsequent battle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Major Depression, Nathan discharged from the ADF. His experiences during his darkest of hours left an undeniable mark, inspiring him to help others who are walking a similar path. Nathan became a public speaker to raise awareness around men’s mental health issues, resilience trainer to help men develop new knowledge and skills and took up positions on the SA Premier's Council on Suicide Prevention, WellbeingSA Mental Health Directorate's Community Advisory Committee and SA Chapter Representative for the SOER Welfare Association.
